As a Representative of the American Freedmen Legal Fund and Freedmen Nation, I am officially calling for a boycott of Fat Joe’s music, merchandise, and media following his recent offensive remarks about the FBA (Foundational Black Americans) community.
A certified letter is being mailed to the organizations affiliated with Fat Joe to formally address this issue.
Why We Are Boycotting Fat Joe
Fat Joe’s comments—calling FBA individuals “broke” and labeling us “radical Black racists”—are not just disrespectful but are rooted in anti-Freedmen sentiment. His rhetoric dismisses the historical and economic realities faced by our community and perpetuates divisive narratives that undermine our identity and struggles.
Who is Backing Fat Joe’s Platform?
Fat Joe’s show, “Fat Joe Talks”, is backed by:
• ClashTV
• SpringHill Entertainment (Founded by LeBron James & Maverick Carter)
• Embassy Row Productions
By supporting Fat Joe’s platform, these companies are endorsing and amplifying harmful rhetoric against our community.
Our Response: Unified Boycott
The Freedmen community, over 40 million strong, will no longer support:
✔️ Fat Joe’s music
✔️ Fat Joe’s merchandise
✔️ Fat Joe’s media appearances & content
We demand respect and accountability.
Enough is enough. The Freedmen Nation stands united.
